The Chirripó National Park and La Amistad International Park are two of the most popular destinations in Costa Rica. The Chirripó National Park is home to the highest peak in the country, the Cerro Chirripó, which stands at 3,820 meters above sea level. The park is open from 7:00am to 3:00pm, and the entrance fee is $15 for adults and $5 for children.
The La Amistad International Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is shared between Costa Rica and Panama. The park is open from 7:00am to 4:00pm, and the entrance fee is $10 for adults and $5 for children.
Visitors can enjoy a variety of activities in the parks, including hiking, birdwatching, and wildlife spotting. There are also several nearby attractions worth visiting, such as the Los Cusingos Neotropical Bird Sanctuary and the Wilson Botanical Garden.
